ITINERARY – 6 DAYS
DAY 1 BERGEN
Arrive in Bergen. Balance of day free. Overnight at the Clarion Admiral Hotel, or similar, located near the historic Hanseatic Wharf.
DAY 2 BERGEN [B]
Breakfast at hotel. Day free for independent exploration or a city sightseeing tour. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 3 BERGEN – BALESTRAND [B,D]
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to pier on own. At 8:00am board the Sognefjord Express boat to Balestrand. Arrive at 11:55am. Dinner and overnight at the charming Kvikne’s Hotel, or similar.
DAY 4 FJÆRLANDSFJORD GLACIER EXCURSION [B,D]
Breakfast at the hotel. Travel on the Fjærlandsfjord and experience one of the most beautiful fjord arms in Norway. From there you will continue to two different extensions of the Jostedal Glacier; Supphellebreen and Bøyabreen glaciers. Return by ferry to Balestrand. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5 BALESTRAND – FLÅM – OSLO [B]
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to pier on own and board the 11:50am ferry for a cruise on the Aurlandfjord to Flåm. Board the famous Flåm Railway and continue to Oslo. Upon arrival, transfer to the Thon Hotel Opera, or similar, located in the city center for overnight.
DAY 6 OSLO [B]
Tour ends following breakfast at hotel.
Itinerary can be reversed (Oslo to Bergen). Additional hotel nights are available upon request.
Seat upgrades (on select train departures) and luggage services between Bergen and Oslo may be available upon request.
