Tour Itinerary

• Day 1:
  Chicago — Olso
  Depart Chicago O’Hare on your Scandinavian Airlines transatlantic flight or request space from your home city upon registration. For further information, see Air Transportation under Terms & Conditions.
• Day 2:
  Oslo

  Arrive at Gardermoen Airport Oslo. Transfer to hotel. Balance of day free to relax and adjust to time change. Welcome dinner and overnight at Quality Hotel 33/Grand Hotel.
• Day 3:
  Oslo

  Morning sightseeing tour of Oslo includes a visit to Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum and the Norwegian Folk Museum. Afternoon and evening free for shopping and independent explorations. Dinner on own.
• Day 4:
  Oslo — Flåm — Voss

  Drive through the beautiful Hallingdal Valley to Gol. Continue to Hol and down the spectacular Aurland Valley to Flåm. Board the Flåm Railway, ranked as one of the top 20 train rides in the world. Within 13 miles ascend 2800 feet to Myrdal, where we transfer to the famous Oslo/Bergen Railway and continue by train to Voss. Dinner and overnight at the historic Fleischer’s Hotel.
• Day 5:
  Bergen Excursion

  Excursion to Norway’s second largest city, Bergen. Our city sightseeing tour includes Troldhaugen, home of Norway’s renowned musician, the late Edvard Grieg. Tour concludes with a guided walk through the historic Hanseatic Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Time on own for a stroll through the colorful Fish Market, shopping or other independent explorations prior to our return to Voss for dinner and overnight at hotel.
• Day 6:
  Voss — Loen

  Drive over the Vik Mountains. Ferry across the mighty Sognefjord from Vangsnes to Hella. Continue along the fjord to Sogndal and on the Fjærland road to Skei. Opportunity to purchase quality crafts and woven products at Audhild Viken’s Weaving Workshop. Afternoon excursion to the sparkling Briksdal Glacier. Proceed to Loen. Dinner and overnight at the lovely Alexandra Hotel.
• Day 7:
  Loen — Geiranger — Molde

  Cruise the renowned Geiranger Fjord from Hellesylt to Geiranger. Travel the “Golden Route”, ascending the Eagle Road. Continue to the famous Troll’s Path descending its steep and narrow hairpin bends. Proceed to Molde, the “City of Roses”. Dinner and overnight at stunning Rica Seilet.
• Day 8:
  Molde — Trondheim

  Depart Molde and travel to the fishing village of Bud. Tour Ergan Kystfort, a defensive bunker built by the Germans during the occupation of Norway during WWII. Drive the Atlantic Ocean Road with the vast and boundless ocean on one side and majestic snow-clad mountain peaks towering on the other. Continue to Trondheim. Dinner and overnight at Radisson SAS Royal Garden Hotel.
• Day 9:
  Trondheim

  Morning sightseeing tour of Trondheim includes a visit to the Nidaros Cathedral, one of the most splendid cathedrals in Scandinavia. Afternoon free. Farewell dinner and overnight at hotel.
• Day 10:
  Trondheim — USA
